How to Clean and Optimize Your Windows on Your PC/Laptop

There are times when you don't feel like your PC is running slow, web pages take longer to load and the folder opens after some time. All of these are signs that your PC is struggling with something unusual. These things can happen on any new PC once it's been used for a few months. Don't blame your PC for this kind of stuff, there are chances that it may collect a lot of junk or files which is why it takes a lot of time to process your request. This is the time to use your PC.

Although there are many PCs available online these days and most of them are prepaid for software but you don't need to pay for that software, you can do it yourself without paying anything. It's very easy to clean your PC without technical knowledge. You just need to do a few of the things mentioned below and your computer will return to normal as it was, its just a matter of a few clicks.

Remove Unwanted Programs: Go to the Control Panel with Programs and Symbols and this will display a list of software currently installed on your PC. Take a closer look at the list and delete any programs you no longer use. This will also free up disk space on your other hard drive that you can use to store important files.

Disk Cleanup: Click the Start button and then the Accessories and System Tools and then check the Disk Cleanup Utility. This small tool will help to clear junk items and temporary internet files from your PC, this will free up your disk space too.

Prepare Startup Items: If your PC takes too much time to start processing to update the original items. Press Window + R to open the boot box, type the MSCONFIG command and go to the startup tab. Carefully check all startups and disable unwanted application from boot.

Hard Disk Optimization: Click the Start button and then Accessories and System Tools and look for Disk Defragmenter Utility. This may take some time to finish moving files and adding your disk space.

Windows Update: Make sure Windows updates are open and your computer always looks for new updates. This will fix most of your computer security problems and keep your computer up to date. Your computer should be able to look for new features at least weekly.

Antivirus scanner: Make sure you are using the popular antivirus protection and are regularly updated with virus definitions. Most of the best antivirus softwares today are built on using PC Optimizer to make your computer on time. You should use a full scan of your computer at least once a week.

In addition to the above features you can also add visual memory to your PC when your PC is low in RAM, this can affect the performance of your computer. You may also consider using windows registries but keep in mind that improper register of the object register can cause damage to the application, if you want to do so consider using a good PC or register cleaning device.
